Our Crew is made up of the following professionals:
Ross Oakley
From the time he was a young tike in Reno, Ross has always been fascinated with the natural world and its inhabitants. Twenty-seven years later, he has gone from collecting crawdads to testing the integrity of building envelopes. After four years in Oregon (and one in New Zealand) studying Environmental Science, he was convinced that tomorrow's businesses must reflect a responsibility towards protecting life's future generations. This led him to Perth, Australia (the world's most isolated capital city) to study Renewable Energy. After a short stint in biodiesel, he found himself at the Kansas Building Science Institute becoming RESNet certified and augmenting his awareness of the role of energy efficiency in mitigating our carbon emissions. Six months later, he attended more intensive training seminars in Home Performance and looks forward to the challenges and rewards of making peoples' homes more efficient, healthy, and comfortable.

Mary Winston
Mary was owner/operator of a landscape firm for nearly 20 years prior to embarking on a new career in Home Performance. “I liked landscaping”, Mary said. “But I felt drawn to environmental activism. With years of contracting experience, Home Performance felt like the perfect fit. I can help people be more comfortable in their homes, save them energy dollars and have the satisfaction of knowing that I’ve helped reduce our dependence on non-sustainable energy sources and reduced green house gas emissions.”
Mary became a certified RESNET home energy rater in 2004; has trained with the National Comfort Institute and continues to attend classes at PGE’s Stockton Energy Training Center at every reasonable opportunity.
